The Cambridge Art Salon invites anyone who wants to drop in and draw to come during our opening hours, and make use of our facilities. We are open on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday for normal shop hours, and we have set up a table with objects to draw. Bring your own equipment and make use of our peaceful environment, for an art-break of any length. Donations are welcome.
For three weeks, the resident artists at the CAS will be exhibiting a selection of their works, in a multi-person show. The work will concentrate on 2D pieces. Our window display will rotate on a weekly basis. Upcoming, we have several individual exhibitions in preparation.
This week, the Cambridge Art Salon is pleased to present Future Generations Lie Dead by our Hand, an installation by Penelope Sackville-Hayes. The installation in ceramics runs until 27th September
Thank you to everyone who came to the launch of the Salon, and to everyone who supported us. We look forward to our time working in and with the community, and having so many creative people working with us.
On Wednesday September 14th, the Cambridge Art Salon officially opens to the public. A not for profit community art space for public use in Cambridge, CAS is a unique hub of talent, workspace and gallery. Any member of the public is welcome to showcase their work, engage with the project and help strengthen the community through culture and the arts.
